tesa® ACXplus 73106 – Grey Acrylic Foam Tape

Description

tesa® ACXplus 73106 – Gray Acrylic Foam Tape (640 μm)

High-Performance Bonding for High-Temperature Applications

Product Overview

tesa® ACXplus 73106 is a robust, double-sided acrylic foam tape engineered for long-lasting bonding—especially where elevated temperature resistance and high mechanical forces are present. With a 640 μm closed-cell acrylic foam core, it provides excellent conformability, strong initial tack, and exceptional environmental resistance. Serving as a clean alternative to screws, rivets, welds, or liquid adhesives, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor structural bonding applications.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Viscoelastic Acrylic Foam Core – Absorbs and dissipates mechanical stress for long-term durability.
  • High Temperature Resistance – Withstands up to 150°C long-term and 210°C short-term.
  • Strong Adhesion to Multiple Substrates – Metals, plastics, glass, and painted or coated surfaces.
  • Excellent Weather Resistance – UV, moisture, and outdoor environmental stability.
  • Thermal Expansion Compensation – Maintains secure bonding between dissimilar materials.
  • No Mechanical Fasteners Required – Enables clean, flush, aesthetically pleasing assemblies.
  • PFAS/PFOS-Free Formulation – Supports safer and more sustainable bonding solutions.

Typical Applications

  • High-temperature bonding applications
  • Panel stiffening and frame bonding
  • Decorative trims and profile attachment
  • Multi-material bonding (metal-to-plastic, plastic-to-glass, etc.)
  • General industrial bonding where screws or rivets are undesirable
